Confusion about the Name Change - Just Boy Scout troops are affected

No change: Our umbrella organization headquartered in Irvine Texas is still "Boy Scouts of America."

Change here: The Boy Scouts of America organization sponsors 6 programs:

1. Cub Scouting
2. Boy Scouting
3. Venturing
4. Sea Scouting
5. Exploring
6. STEM Scouts (still a pilot)

In February 2019 the "Boy Scouting" program will change its name to "Scouts BSA"
