TRD Help Wanted

The 3 Rivers District provides support to some 85 troops, 70 packs, and 20 crews, doing everything we can to ensure their success.

But the fact is that we could do a lot more if we had more people volunteering to work on the District Committee.

Help Wanted! We're looking for any adult with some expertise to offer. Some examples:

• You're the parent of a Webelos Scout who just bridged into a Boy Scout troop. You're now willing to visit some other struggling Cub pack and give advice based on what you learned when your son was a Cub.
• You're a young mom who uses her smart phone to connect with the world, and you wonder why the old timers in charge are still using paper forms and snail-mail.
• You do successful fund-raising for another organization and wonder why the Scouts seem to be struggling to get contributions.
• You do successful public relations for another organization and wonder why the Scouts can't seem to get themselves noticed.
• You've attended some pretty good events run by the 3 Rivers District and think that you'd like to pitch in the next time they have something scheduled.
